FAITH-ROOTED. PEOPLE-POWERED.
JUSTICE FOR WYANDOTTE COUNTY.
Jesus called justice, mercy, and faithfulness the weightier matters of the law. Churches United for Justice is how congregations in Wyandotte County live that out together — by organizing people power to hold decision-makers accountable and win real change for our community.

WHO WE ARE
We give people of faith a way to organize for justice.
Churches United for Justice is a nonprofit, grassroots, nonpartisan, direct-action organization based in Wyandotte County, Kansas. We are a coalition of congregations working together to bring justice to our communities.
Most congregations ask why poverty, homelessness, and displacement keep growing — why the need for charity keeps increasing — but struggle to find a way to address the root causes. CUJ is the answer to that question. We give congregations a proven, structured way to organize for justice: to identify what is causing harm, research what needs to change, and hold decision-makers accountable for that change.
GET INVOLVED
Micah 6:8 asks, “…and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God." If your faith community is ready to get into the organized work of justice, we want to talk. CUJ welcomes congregations of all sizes and denominations.
